17 years ago Sega, after years of brainstorming unleashed their speedy blue colored mascot. The first Sonic the Hedgehog game hit on this day in 1991. I believe I played for a good 8 hours straight when I got my hands on it. Then after 1994 all things Sonic got pretty ugly and depressing. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 on Dreamcast were not too awful though. What are you favorite Sonic moments?
