DC Comics and Capcom today have announced plans to produce comic books based on the Resident Evil and the Devil May Cry series of video games.

DC’s undisputed development and distribution strength within the comic industry make them an ideal partner to further expand two of our most successful and sophisticated gaming properties.”

Exact details on the new series, including creative team, artists and launch month, will be announced at a later date. Both titles will be published by DC Comics’ WildStorm.
