It's happened again. Reports are coming in that a Gears of War 2 torrent has been spotted and is being downloaded by everyone and their mom with "one of those" Xbox 360's. I'm not going to get into an argument about right and wrong and all that but this just sucks.

Gears of War 2 is set to hit retail shelves in 3 weeks. You know, I wonder how all of this is happening. How are they getting access to retail discs?

With DRM and piracy on every publisher's mind it'll be interesting to see how the future with digital distribution will affect all of this. I see a future where you download a game and it's tied to the hardware and verified everytime you want to play.

Anywho, sorry to hear that this has happened.  If you want the game, pre-order it and buy it.
