Microsoft has announced that Isopod Labs' Vigilante 8: Arcade will be released to the masses on the Xbox Live Arcade this coming Wednesday.

Vigilante 8: Arcade will feature up to 8-player online action, along with five brand-new destruction arenas and eight customizable vehicles from the 1970s. The game will set you back just 800 Microoft points.

I have a deep love for the classic car combat games and I am hoping someone will bring the genre into the next-gen. Until that happens atleast we can enjoy some online Vigilante 8.
