Nintendo Fights Piracy With DSi

It's just been revealed that the R4 and other current homebrew devices for the Nintendo DS will not work on the new DSi. This is Nintendo's first move against stopping the rampant piracy that has existed since the DS first came out. The R4, along with other devices, allows an individual to illegally download DS games and play them on their DS. With no modding involved and the fact that a R4 unit costs less than a single game, it has been only too easy for pirates to steal all the games they want. Unfortunately, even with Nintendo's modifications to the DSi, it's surely only a matter of time until the next homebrew solution comes out.
