Alright, those of you out there who know me know I'm an insane fan of Suikoden. I've been begging for a new title from the series since I finished playing through Suikoden 5, which was highly underrated. It turns out, my prayers are about to be answered!

I received a phone call last night saying that there was a new Suikoden game in the GameStop pre-order system. It looks like the Nintendo DS will be receiving Suikoden: Tierkreis. I took some time to do some research and this is what I've come up with.

The game is releasing in Japan on December 18th and while a release date hasn't been confirmed for the US, it looks like it could possibly be as soon as February. If you're a huge Suikoden nut like me, you can also find some info on the game in the Nov. and Dec. issues of Nintendo Power. The game looks like it's taking place in a different universe from the first five titles in the series. It seems like it could be a departure from the original titles, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

Let's hope that February release date comes true, because I know a good birthday present for me! More info coming as soon as I get it.
