Believe It Or Not: PSN & Xbox Live User Base Equal
It has taken the past 2 years for PlayStation 3 to aquire 14 millions users on the PlayStation Network. Even though Xbox 360 is leading the PlayStation 3 by 5 million units, Xbox announced back at Tokyo Game Show that Live just hit the 14 million subscriber mark. Thats a pretty impressive number in only 2 years of PSN compared to the 6 years Xbox Live has been around.

you need to read the wikipage closer. 10 mil Gold & SIlver COMBINED where hit earlier this year. 14mil was hit this summer.

No it's true. That stat has always been Gold and Silver. With that said, Sony shouldn't be too quick to gloat. It's only 14 million on a FREE service..

I had the opportunity to beta test Xbox Live 6 months before it went live years ago.
Whacked! anyone?
I was sold back then. Xbox Live has gone from being just a feature to a service by itself.

I'll just add that, while Silver is free; we still have the other x-million paying for a service that by most PS3 players admission IS a far superior service.

PS3 has MGS4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, Wipeout HD, Mega Man 9 with a working D-pad, Gran Turismo
Future: non gimped FF13, Killzone 2, God of War 3.

Don't care about MGS4 ,Ratchet & Clank,FF13, or God of War 3. Played NG a few years ago. I like playing MM9 with the Wiimote better. Forza > Gran Turismo, Halo > Killzone.

Yes MGS4 (four). NG version 3 I might add. R&C (what is that like part 8? Uncharted doesn't sell (get it UNCHARTED?), WO HD (who give a crap!?). D-pad doesn't change the fact that it's there.

BTW: from 7a.m.-3:30pm, my store sold 1 PS3. To be fair I did sell a fair amount of games, but I myself didn't field a single question about the system.
