Club Nintendo Officially Opens It's Doors
Posted: December 16, 2008 - 6:15 pm by Matt

A few months back it was reported that Nintendo was going to be bringing Club Nintendo Stateside. As of today Nintendo has officially opened the the doors. Club Nintendo has long been the envy of American gamers as our friends in Japan have had access to it for some time.

The site allows you to register your Nintendo products in exchange for Nintendo Coins which can be redeemed for limited-edition Nintendo merch. The selection is a bit limited right now but more items will be added so you'll have plenty of time to save up for the good stuff.

“Club Nintendo gives fans what they want – access to exclusive rewards for their loyalty to our brand and our products,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America Inc.’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “We’re offering some unique items as a way to say thanks for their support of Nintendo.”

I've been waiting for this to launch since I first heard about it. Now if only there were some Wii games I'd like to purchase. If you already have an account at Nintendo you can easily port your account over to Club Nintendo so all your info will copy over.
