Rumors of a PSP console update have been around the gaming rumor mill almost as long as Lara Croft nude codes. According to 1UP, the next PSP system is the PSP Go!.  There is a whole Go! brand built around the new PSP like Go!View for video and Go!Cam for taking pictures in Europe.

According to 1UP, the system will come in two flavors, with either 8 MB or 16 MB of built-in memory and will no longer include a UMD reader.

And since the UMDs are going away, Sony is said to be readying over 100 classic and new PSP titles for the PlayStation Store, including Gran Turismo Mobile.

Unfortunately, it also looks as though there will not be a second analog nub added to the system, but it is something that many felt was needed.

An official announcement is expected to be made at E3.
