Details Arise For Last.fm On Xbox Live
Posted: July 3, 2009 - 8:56 pm by Brandon
Thanks to the team over at Joystiq, we've got a few new details on what we can expect from Last.fm when it hits Xbox Live. Microsoft first announced the online radio service would be coming to Xbox Live back at their E3 keynote event, but no major details have come out until now. According to Christina DeRosa, a general manager for Xbox Live, Silver users will be able to use Last.fm for a trial period of three hours a month, with video advertisements. Gold subscribers will have unlimited "ad-supported" access, and a premium subscription available that will be commercial free and have more personalization features, such as Loved Tracks. Honestly, this is the sort of thing I would expect of Microsoft. You have to shell out more and more money for a service that should probably be free. I could understand the Silver/Gold divide, but another service just for a few more features that shouldn't cost extra to begin with? I think I'll stick to listening to Pandora on my computer, thank you very much. Reader CommentsNo comments have been posted. Be the first!Add Your Comment
