In a recent interview with IGN, RedOctane revealed a few tidbits about this fall's Guitar Hero III.

The game hits on every remaining console this fall, and downloaded content will be available for the Xbox 360, the Playstation 3, and the Nintendo Wii. Did I mention there will also be online multiplayer, even on the Wii? And yes, there will be a guitar controller for the Wii, so I hope none of you were getting your hopes up on some new control scheme.

As much as I love my Wii, I will probably end up getting the game for my Xbox 360, simply because of the Achievement Points. Gives me a little something more to work for.
