Netflix Coming to PlayStation 3
Posted: October 26, 2009 - 9:34 am by Matt

As of next month Xbox 360 owners will have one less feature to brag about. Sony has announced a new partnership with Netflix to bring their instant streaming service to the PlayStation 3. Unlike the Xbox 360 service, PlayStation 3 owners will have to use a free Blu-ray disc that will be made available to all Netflix members. The disc then uses BD-Live to access the Internet and large selection of streaming titles.

No exact date has been given but users interested can sign up early at http://www.netflix.com/ps3 and be ready when the service launches next month.

It's about time.... it doesn't make any sense to have this exclusive to only one console.
