The first downloadable content for DJ Hero hits today, and I hope you have a stockpile of cash sitting around.  If you get this DLC, you will need it.  The first pack, Extended Mix Pack 01, will set you back 480 MS Points ($5.99 on PSN).  The kicker here is that it is only for two mixes!  Yes, for more than the cost of some classic XBLA games, you get a whole two mixes for DJ Hero!  Also, you have to buy both of them unless you have the Wii version, on which you can only buy them separately for 300 points each.  The second batch of DLC coming is the David Guetta Mix Pack, which is three mixes, and it only $2 more expensive.  So, why are they so expensive?  Chris Lee explains to IGN.

There's additional work in the creation process of the DJ Hero DLC – licensing multiple pieces of content and bringing in a professional DJ to mix the tracks – that brings the price to 300 Wii Points for the mixes individually; 480 Microsoft Points or $5.99 in the PlayStationStore for Extended Mix Pack 01. The David Guetta Mix Pack coming in November will be 300 Wii Points for the mixes individually; 640 Microsoft Points or $7.99 in the PlayStationStore. 

And the two mixes from the Extended Mix Pack 01 are:

• All Of Me" by 50 Cent featuring Mary J. Blige vs. "Radio Ga Ga" by Queen 
• "DARE" by Gorillaz vs. "Can't Truss It" Performed by Public Enemy
