Adding to the hype of having Michael Jordan as the cover athlete for NBA 2K11, 2K Sports has announced a whole game mode dedicated to the real King of basketball.

The new mode will allow gamers to play 10 legendary NBA games from MJ's career and challenge them to recreate what he did on the court.Can you blow out the Cav's by 69 points in 1990? Or beat out the Jazz in Game 6 of the 1997 finals? Or you can relive Jordan's final game as a Chicago Bull from June 14th, 1998. As well as play with Bulls teams from ‘85-’86, ’89-’90, ’90-’91, ’94-’95, ’95-’96, ’96-’97, and ’97-’98.

“Fans of the series are going to be thrilled to know that in NBA 2K11  Michael Jordan is much, much more than just a cover athlete,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “We’re excited to start talking about the ways that Michael will be used in the game and there’s still a lot more to come.”

I've not picked up a new basketball game since NBA 2K3, but I think I may have to snag this one for sure. What do you guys think about the latest version of this series?
