If you didn’t make it into the Halo 3 beta, don’t sweat it, the much anticipated shooter has an official release date!
Typically when a developer announces something in regards to the release date of a game it's a delay, however the folks at Bungie have other ideas. They are actually pulling the release of Halo 3 ahead 2 months from it’s previous November date. Strange as it may be, you won't hear many gamers complaining; as long as it's not released buggy, I say bring it on and let me play! Besides deciding which obnoxious players to mute on Xbox Live, you’ll have to make an important decision come September 25th. The decision of which edition of Halo 3 to invest your hard earned money into, in other words, how much is Halo 3 worth to you? While they all obviously contain the same game, some of us like a little extra. The standard edition will run the typical $59.99 price point. Step it up a notch with the limited edition for $69.99. If that isn’t enough for you grab the Legendary Edition for $129.99 fitted with a replica of Master Chiefs helmet. Details are limited on exactly what the different packages will contain, but expect the limited edition to be along the lines of Halo 2’s limited edition. Now go forth and rejoice!
