Nintendo is holding a large press summit today, and they have already announced the release dates of some very highly anticipated games as well as the release date for the DSi XL.
It turns out that the DSi XL will be available in just about four weeks, on March 28. It will retail here in the US for $189.99, $20 more than the DSi.

This new Just Cause 2 Stunt videos centers around Firetruck vs. Jet. That should tell you a little something. Just watch the video and think about how much fun this game might end up being. And yes, I know this isn't nearly as cool as the other two released the other day.
As we mentioned in Episode 4 of our podcast, BioShock 2 on the PC was facing the same widescreen cropping issues that the first game had. Well, tomorrow you won't have to worry about it anymore, as the game will be getting patched. Also, there was apparently an issue in the multiplayer where your M1 button (Left Click on the mouse) wouldn't be recognized. They are fixing that as well. The patch will be available for download at 2 AM PST.
In an interview today with IGN, Team Meat made an announcement that should be a surprise to nobody. Super Meat Boy, a highly anticipated WiiWare and PC game, is going to be released on XBLA. The only somewhat surprising part is that it will be released on the 360 first. It will also have online play, something that is not going to be in the Wii version due to the WiiWare size limitations.
The latest DLC for Borderlands, The Secret Army of General Knoxx, is going to be available for purchase this week. Xbox 360 owners will have access to it for 800 MS Points starting tomorrow. If you have it on PC or PS3, you will only have to wait until Thursday to get your hands on it for $9.99. Along with some new areas and enemies, the DLC will also give you some new loot to get your hands on and it will raise the level cap.
Capcom is giving us a reason to like Monday this week! They just released a whole new batch of screenshots and some sweet artwork for the upcoming Mega Man Zero Collection. You can check them all out in the gallery!
We finally have the full information about the pricing and release dates for the games in the Xbox Live Arcade Block Party. Things are going to kick off on March 3 with the release of Toy Soldiers. The last week of the Block Party sees the release of the XBLA Game Room. And much like last year's Summer of Arcade, if you buy all three games and download the free Game Room, you will get 400 MS Points credited to your account. I'm not sure it's going to be worth it for the Block Party though, as I can only see one game that I would purchase: Perfect Dark.
Also, over the last weekend of March, you will be able to play any of the three games over Xbox Live as a special online taste for all of those who only have a Silver membership. Hit the jump for the full list and details.
Welcome to DS on DS. This is where I'm going to be taking a look at the Nintendo DS and all of it's games. And when I say all, I mean it. I will be going from Scribblenauts to Petz Catz Clan. From Planet Puzzle League to Grey's Anatomy. Every Friday, I will write a review on the game I have chosen for the week.
With the upcoming release of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, I am going to be taking a look at some of the non-traditional Pokémon games that have been released on the Nintendo DS over the next few weeks leading up to the release of the new games.
In news that some people are going to be excited about, it was announced today that a Digimon MMO is going to be available next month. Yes, the line that started out as the "Tamagotchi for boys" is getting a MMO before Pokemon (the series that most people accuse of ripping off).
