Classic Rock pack will be available next week for download on XBox 360 and (hopefully) PS3.

Pretty much anyone who has had anything to do with the gaming industry over the last 10 years knows of Dan Hsu. He has worked for EGM since April of 1996 and has seen the business from the inside out. Today Dan's blog over at 1up.com was updated with a heartfelt goodbye as he has decide dto walk away after spending some 11 years with the company.

Resident MGS freak here again, now with the newly revealed limited edition artwork for Metal Gear Solid 4.

We first heard rumblings about the return of the once great Interplay late last year, but with the filing of their yearly earnings report, it's now official. Interplay is returning and will bring along MDK, Earthworm Jim, Descent and Dark Alliance with them.

Fashion icon and master of Channel, Karl Lagerfeld, will be one of the DJs in Grand Theft Auto IV for the K109 "The Studio" station. He will be spinning all of his favorite electronica & dance tracks.  This just leads me to wonder if I can get over to the Channel store down the street and pre-order some kind of crazy fancy version of the game. Not a big week in terms of releases. The Orange Box gets split up in to bite size pieces, as Half-Life 2: Episode Pack, Portal and Team Fortress 2 are all released individualy. Assassin's Creed is out now for the PC, although it very well may assassinate your PC before you get a chance to do the same to some Templars. Hit the jump for the full list of new releases.

Back in the day there was no such thing as 4 player split screen. No online death matches with only rockets & sticky grenades. We had 2 players on one screen & if your buddy didn't keep up, you smacked em. The only time you could do 4 player games was in the arcade with Gauntlet. (go learn what an arcade is youngins.Wikipedia - Arcade) Flash to 2008 & now our favorite 4 player dungeon smack down is coming to the Nintendo DS.

Here is what you are looking for when Metal Gear Solid 4 hits your respective areas. Hi-res & realistic for the West. Sketchy & super cool for the East.

Up until now we have only seen the hero ninja Ryu Hyabusa & hordes of crazy dismembered monsters. Now we get some light shed on a new supporting cast memeber Sonia & a little bit of plot which involves a "demon statue" residing in the Hyabusa village. (Sounds a bit like the NES games.)

Mario Kart Wii is on the way this month. Everyone by now is familiar with the plastic wheel attachment that is being packaged along with everyone's favorite kart racing game. Did it ever occur to you how hard it was for Nintendo to create that little add on?
