Looks like EA is in need of a few more days to put the finishing touches on Skate. The launch for the 360 has now been delayed by two days making the official date Friday, Sept. 14 instead of the former Wed, Sept 12.

This news was originally posted in EA's Skate forums where EA offered up a small apology but did not go into detail about the delay.

One would assume that the delay is to fix some of the network issues that arose during the demo phase of the game. As much as we all want this game I think we can handle the two day set back.
