As expected, Microsoft is about to unleash one of the most intense marketing campaigns the world has ever seen. With Halo 3 only weeks away Microsoft has layed out the details for what is expected to be one of the largest launches in gaming history.
"Unite to Fight", that is what Microsoft wants us to do during launch week. Regional events are being planned for retailers in New York City, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Miami, allowing gamers a chance to win merchandise and play the game with local celebrities. If what is a brilliant marketing move, Best Buy will also be making Xbox LIVE Gold free for everyone during the three days after launch.
Microsoft also has planned promotions with Pontiac, 7-11 and many other retailers and celebrities. We hope you are prepared for the barrage of marketing and ads and we'll see you on launch day.
