Give the gift of gaming via your Wii
Posted: October 26, 2007 - 12:03 pm by Matt
The Associated Press is reporting that Nintendo has unveiled a new function that will allow gamers to send each other games over the Internet using the Wii's shopping channel. With just a few clicks, all of you will be able to buy me a game and send it to me as a gift!
With a few clicks, a user will be able to select a game to send as a gift to another user online, Iwata said. When the recipient accepts, the Wii automatically launches the shopping channel and begins the download.
No news as to exactly when we'll see this feature hit our Wii. This is great news for gamers especially with the Christmas season coming right up. We'll let you know when the service launches.

You know, I wonder if you'll be able to send the 'gift' back out. Would make a nice way for a group of people to check out a bunch of games.
