Just in time for Super Mario Galaxy, it's Check Mii Out
Posted: November 8, 2007 - 11:21 am by Jeremy

This Sunday, Nintendo launches it's newest Wii channel, Check Mii Out. Ever wanted to see the insane Miis people are making? I know I've been itching to share some of my more bizzare creations with other people without having to exchange Wii codes. Now, these desires can be fulfilled!

The Check Mii Out channel will have two areas. The first being the Posting Plaza, where you can submit, exchange, or browse Miis. You can look at one thousand random Miis or search by creator. You can also sort by region or worldwide. And what if you find one you like? You can save it to your system.

The other is the Contest section. This is where you create a Mii based on the particular theme, and then people vote to see who made the best one. This part sounds like a lot of fun to me.

All in all, I'm moderately excited about this channel. I can't wait to share the madness!

How do you feel about remakes and rereleases of older games?
It's a good way to introduce new and younger gamers to the classics.
It's just another way for companies to make a quick buck on nostalgia.
It's a great way to revisit old games I love.
I don't care about old games, bring on the next-gen!
