RUMOR: 360 Fall Update Details
Posted: November 13, 2007 - 9:13 am by Matt

Our friends over at ComputerAndVideogames.com apparently got their hands on an upcoming issue of the Official Xbox Magazine which offers a few details into the upcoming Xbox 360 Fall Update.

It appears that 360 users will be able to download original Xbox games via the Marketplace. The first available games include Halo, Fahrenheit, Fable, Crimson Skies, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex and Burnout 3. Each game will run 1200 Microsoft points (USD$15). The 360 already has the emulation capabilities in place so it makes good sense to offer these title via the Marketplace.

The fall update is scheduled to go live on December 4th. As Microsoft has not come forward officially with any other upgrades other than the Parental Timer, please note that we have filed this as a rumor. Even the original post over at CVG has since gone down. Did MS not want us to know about this? Only time will tell.

This is just a way to get people to 'upgrade' to the bigger HDD.
