New Halo 3 Multiplayer Maps - Dec. 11th
Posted: November 19, 2007 - 1:37 pm by Chris

Next month, all you rabid Halo 3 players are going to be able to download three new multiplayer maps to add to your collections. On Dec. 11th we'll be able to download the Heroic Map Pack for 800 MS points via the Marketplace. This pack will be the first in a series of downloadable content that Bungie plans to bring to us.

For 800 points you'll get the three maps: Standoff, Rat's Nest, and Foundry. Foundry appears to take full advantage of the Forge editor, allowing you to rebuild anything and everything on the map. Weapon placements, walls, tunnels, vehicles, you name it.

For those of you, like myself, who don't feel like dropping ten bucks on 3 maps, the Heroic Map Pack will also be made available free to download in the Spring of 2008.

How do you feel about remakes and rereleases of older games?
It's a good way to introduce new and younger gamers to the classics.
It's just another way for companies to make a quick buck on nostalgia.
It's a great way to revisit old games I love.
I don't care about old games, bring on the next-gen!
