Like we didn't see this one coming. We had heard for a while that Silent Hill Origins for the PSP was being ported over to the PS2 but Konami was keeping should I say "silent" about it.

We now have confirmation from Konami themselves that the prequel to one of gamings best franchises will be making it over to PlayStation 2. Just think about it, you can now get every single game on the PS2. No official date was given but they did promise "updated controls". There was also no word on whether the game would get a face lift for it's console debut. As soon as we know, you'll know.
