Master System Coming to Virtual Console
Posted: January 25, 2008 - 3:26 pm by Jesse

I'm not sure how many of you remember June of 1986. You'll soon be able to re-live the good old days again thanks to the Nintendo Wii's virtual console.

IGN is reporting that Sega has announced that Sega Master System titles are going to start appearing on the Virtual Console. They will begin in Japan next month and will follow suit in North America and Europe. The first titles that are going to be ready are Fist of the North Star and Fantasy Zone. We don't have a date yet for the other regions but we will report them once they are announced.

Thats AWESOME. The SEGA Master System was the first console I ever played. I still have it, in perfect working condition. It's good to see something worthwhile coming out of that buyout.
