Assassin's Creed Coming to PC in March, 2008
Posted: February 8, 2008 - 9:36 am by Scott

Ubisoft's hit action title Assassin's Creed will be coming to the PC in March of 2008 and will also retail for $49.99, $10.00 less than it's console cousins.

According to the press release from Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed for PC will feature new types of investigations exclusive to the PC version "providing even more ways for players to explore the various locations of the Third Crusade."

"We are thrilled to bring Assassin's Creed to an eager PC audience and we anticipate the game will resonate with them just has it has across the other platforms," said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. "In addition, the development team was able to integrate exclusive content into this version of Assassin's Creed, making it an even better and unique experience for PC gamers."

The Assassin's Creed series, which launched last November for the 360 and Playstation 3 consoles has reportedly sold in excess of "2.5 million units... to date in North America alone" and has recently saw the release of a prequel on the Nintendo DS, subtitled Altair's Chronicles

Any PC gamer who has yet to play this game, I highly suggest picking it up, you'll be glad you did. If you are wondering what the specs to run Assassin's Creed on the PC are, I posted them on the forums awhile back, you can view them here.

You'd only have to worry about running it on your PC after you sell off your 360.

I would have to say it would need to be compatible with a Gamepad of some sort. I'm not sure how well KB& Mousing it would work.
