![]() GameStop is now taking reservation for two huge upcoming titles for both XBOX 360 and the Wii respectively. With the amazing and critically acclaimed release of Gears of War, comes it sequel which will definitly be one of hottest holiday sellers later this year. Meanwhile, Nintendo opens the door to another new approach to gaming, this time with its soon to be released, Wii Fit. ![]() It’s no question that Gears of War was a huge hit for the mighty Microsoft Company, and it was only a matter of time until we heard back from this mecha third person shooter. Gear heads need no longer to wait to reserve the next installment of the franchise. As of right now it is scheduled for a November 2008 release. However, it’s far too early into the development to set the date in stone, don’t be surprised to see the date possibly get pushed back. On the Nintendo side of things, the highly sought after Wii Fit has finally been announced for a potential May 19th release. The Wii fit comes with a “balance board” that allows the game to measure your weight, sense of balance, and also your mass index. This is Nintendo’s idea to potentially get family’s to exercise together, and in a fun way. Sources indicate that the chance to reserve this title will more then likely be limited, much like Rock Band was before Christmas. So if you’ve added a few extra pounds eating chips and drinking soda while you’ve been playing Mario Galaxy, this might be something to look into. Reader Comments
