Konami's PR team confirms that all three games will be shipping on three PlayStation 2 DVDs.

Andrew Kelly from Konami confirmed that all three versions of the games will be ports of their former self. The original Metal Gear Solid will ship on one PS2 disc. This will take care of the disc swapping that was necessary in the original PSX release. All of the games of course will save to the PS3 hard drive.

It would also appear that the versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 will be the directors cuts.

I'm sure every fan is excited about this release. You're not going to find a better deal for $29.99. Just don't expect updated textures and improved anything. The games will be straight ports.
