We first heard rumblings about the return of the once great Interplay late last year, but with the filing of their yearly earnings report, it's now official. Interplay is returning and will bring along MDK, Earthworm Jim, Descent and Dark Alliance with them.

No word on when we can expect the first Interplay title to ship but it's good to see that their stash of classic franchises will not go to waste.
