Despite Right Wing Conservatives spewing biased hate, Mothers Against Drunk Driving protesting, Jack Thompson's obligitory "blah blah Murder Simulator" rants, looming EA buy out of Take Two, & completely ridiculous freezing errors that don't exist in Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick's eyes, Grand Theft Auto goes on to make 500 million US dollars in one week of release. Thats over 6 million copies of the game in one week. With all this success it's going to be hard listening to Niko Bellic whine about money all day long.

Over half of that was made in one day with 3.6 millions copies sold, equaling 310 million USD. Its pretty safe to say that GTA 4 has obliterated all sales records held by any form of media ever to grace the planet Earth. Way to go Rockstar. Keep fueling everybody's love of car theft & hooker slaying until we can't take it no more.
