Last Thursday night Metal Gear Online servers had an emergency shut down & update. The servers came back with an all new mode of MGO fans to play. The new mode is Team Sneaking. One team has stealth camo (invisibility) & non lethal weapons. The team has to grab the duck & run it back to the base. One of my favorite things to do. They also added in the option for "Headshots Only" matches, which I will avoid like the plague because I just can't learn to do that outside of sniping.

Still being infuriated with the difficulty of Ninja Gaiden 2? Need to instill even more anger for the game? How about spending 200 points each for 3 new costumes? Yea, that should get a blood vessel or two to pop. Thats right for 200 MS points each you can get Ryu Hyabussa some new threads. The new armors are Fiend, Shadow, & Bio Metal. They do absolutely nothing to change gameplay or unlock achievements. They do come in 5 different color variations though. Also Mission Mode DLC is slated for a July 25th release.

This Monday July 7th is Bungie Day. To celebrate they are releasing the Cold Storage map for Halo 3 to everyone for FREE. The Legendary Map pack is also dropping price to 600 MS Points. So looks like I put off trading in my copy of Halo 3 another week to try Cold Storage. Then it's back to hating Halo 3 with a passion.

It turns out the PlayStation 3 2.40 update gave gamers more then what they asked for. So many people were excited yesterday for the PS3 2.40 update until it started to cause a wide range of issues.

User on the Playstation 3 forums started to chime in and complain about issues they were having.  Everything from the system locking up on boot up, icons not there, controller not syncing to even just the wave splash screen sitting there.  It would appear at the moment that there is no pattern to this issue.

It was reported earlier today that an official website went up featuring nothing but a clock, the words "Nintendo DS", and the familiar ticking sound from Chrono Trigger.  Obviously people were able to figure it out, and Square Enix has now officially announced the title.

And it's coming to the US this year!

The exclusive WoW pet from Blizzards WW1 swag bag of awesomeness has been revealed.

Blizzard has confirmed that another MMO is on the way. Some have noticed that Blizzard has a bunch of job openings for a "next-gen MMO". Blizzard's Rob Pardo spoke briefly about the job openings and in fact confirmed that they are working on a next-gen MMO and that it's not Diablo 3.
