Chrono Trigger is out on the DS this week! Other than, perhaps, Sonic Unleashed for the Xbox 360; there isn't much coming out the week of Black Friday which seems rather odd to me.

Video game cover band, Year 200X may go down in history as the only good thing to come out of Lansing, Michigan...right next to Pinball Pete's. By merging their own brutal musical style with classic video game tunes they have managed to create tunes that gamers and music fans alike can enjoy. With the release of their new album, We Are Error, the band has tackled tracks from Metal Gear to Duck Hunt, transforming the bloobs and bleebs into amazing technical metal.
I got a chance to sit down with Tim from the band to learn a little more about them. Hit the jump for the full interview.

The crazy animal rights group slapped together this pretty fun flash game while tossing flour on fur wearing celebrities and the usual completely bonkers antics. You might want to do it quick before the big N comes and slaps the smirks off their mouths with a giant infringement suit.

Frightening isn't it? You see when someone who does not understand video games asks you "What do you like to do?" and you reply with "Oh, I love playing video games.", they imagine your life resembling something like this lady's setup. They only reason that stigma still lingers is because, well this lady exists on the internet and games somehow are still not cracking the maturity barrier into mainstream society. What do you think will make gaming break the "kids stuff" barrier and become accepted as a mature hobby? Have you encountered someone thinking you belong in the same club as this lady? If so let us know how or just take in the pure horror of the Poke-room.

Office jobs can sure get boring at times. So the best way to ultilize time and office supplies is recreating 8-bit classics, of course. Stop sitting there kicking yourself for not being the genius that thought of doing this first. Go check out Ranadok's flickr photo set of the entire project. Then you can go and take 17,000 push pins yourself and create some awesome NES scenes.
