The Stand Against Virtual Console
June 9, 2008 - 10:26 pm
A majority of the games that are released on the virtual console are worthless, Nintendo is teasing the VC market with long periods of mere handfuls of bland games.

Nintendo wants you to take the “wii bait” because they know if they only throw you scraps, you'll eventually cave in for appetizers. Whether you choose to believe it or not, your dollar has an effect on things. We all have the right to tell this company how to better serve us. We all have the ability to change the system around us if we make a commitment.

What I'm saying is:

Pick your game,
Right here, right now.
Stick with this game.
Make it your passion.
Now quit downloading VC games,
Don't settle for anything less.
Don't give in to any temptation.

No Temptation whatsoever.
NO excuses
If you put enough pressure on them, they'll cave in.

All thats left, is to simply state your case.
Be sincere, be direct, don't put up with their bullshit,
They'll try to butter you up, watch and see.

Wii-ware is not a solution, it's a distraction.

We don't have to pretend anymore, we know it's true.

Nintendo, you were once a companion I could rely on, now your just like the rest of society. I stuck by you through the 64 and cube and honestly, it complicated my social life. It's time to set things right, We over looked your tyranny of the NES generation, We won't be supportive this time around. Earthbound is ready. Give us Earthbound, or I'll take matters into my own hands. I may not be able to dismantle you, but until you release Earthbound, you will have to deal with the rest of us. You've capitalized our supply, now deal with our demands. Stop the machine for one second and listen to what we have to say.

I'm not sure Nintendo has anything to do with it or not...but Super Mario RPG is long overdue. I'm sure SquareEnix would enjoy the buckets of money they would make. Give it to us...and bring back the official Seal of Quality.
