I finally got a chance last night, and for one mission this morning, to play as the "Legendary Devil Hunter" Dante. The way Capcom allowed you to switch his "styles" (ala Dante's Awakening) is so damn sweet. It's tricky to get the hang of at first, because you're so damn used to Nero's arm, but you very quickly realize who's the vet in this shit.
