so i was at Fan Expo, a horror/sci-fi/gaming/comics/anime convention, where nerds can go out in public and not feel like outcasts, and also hit on celebrities and Suicide Girls.

some of the guests included Buzz Aldrin, Brent Spiner, Wes Craven, Henry Winkler (the Fonz! EHHHH!), Shawnee Smith and Hugh Dillon. there were a lot more, but i don't feel like listing them all.

the cast of Evil Dead: The Musical was also there, but i couldn't see them since they were at the same time Hugh Dillon (Flashpoint, Hard Core Logo, the Headstones, HDRC, to name a few of his projects) was signing autographs... the Evil Dead thing was 20 minutes late when i decided to leave the line and go see Dillon... but my friends told me that right after i left, they let people in... figures! i managed to get back up in time to snag some blurry pics of some of the cast.

as is usual with conventions like this, there were cosplayers all around. some of the ones that stood out were a group of WoW nerds (who even had their character names and guild on signs above their heads) and a Bioshock Splicer (wanted to get a pic of him but didn't have the camera out then... didn't find him again).

oh right and a (fully clothed) Naked News anchor knocked a clown into me. true story.

and yeah, some of them are pretty blurry. it's a good thing i'm not a photographer!

in other news, i upgraded my computer last night. got a new processor (Intel Core 2 Quad 6600, 2.4GHz), video card (ATI Radeon HD4850, 512MB DDR3), and 2 more Gigs of RAM (Corsair DDR2). for the processor i got a Golden Orb 2 cooling unit, which has a sexy blue glow. i will be updating the BIOS tomorrow.
