stupid credit card
October 28, 2008 - 8:45 pm
so today when i get home from class, my mother tells me that my credit card company called. i call them and it turns out that my card has been compromised. this really scared the crap out of me because it was the card that my Fallout 3 pre-order was on! however, as luck would have it, Amazon is preparing to ship it now and the transaction was approved before my card was canceled.

and because of this, my balance for my cell phone expired, meaning i had to call Virgin Mobile to get my balance back... it was supposed to top up automatically (thus refreshing my balance), but with the fiasco mentioned above, i temporarily lost my $22... thankfully they were able to put it back.

oh and i also had to cancel and re-order a record from Interpunk since i can't change the card info of the order once it has been placed (it hasn't even shipped yet, so i don't see why the hell not). however, had to do it twice since i accidentally picked the wrong company the first time.

INFURIATING!

that is all.
end communication.

Man that sucks. My mom just had her card # used too. Wonder how someone got ahold of the account. fortunately credit card companies are pretty much right on top of things.

I've had my # stolen before too, a few months ago. Thankfully Bank of America straightened everything out and I didn't have to pay a dime.
