E3 IMO

This year was a huge sigh of relief for me for one reason.
I was thinking about getting a PS3, and I expected Sony's conference to talk me into it. I had my doubts about 360, and started thinking about getting rid of mine : ( In my opinion Microsoft did a complete 180, and now I have no regrets with my 360. The Metal Gear urge has subsided with the anticipation of Final Fantasy XIII. The one thing that bothered me about Sony was their continuing support for PS2. Maybe they still need it as a life line, but I think they would have more success with PS3 if they "forced" the conversion. I understand it's a noble effort to continue the PS2 legacy, but I think it's time to focus the spotlight on PS3. I'm not necessarily saying they should take a lesson from Nintendo, but Gamecube fell off the face of the earth when Wii launched. Same thing happened to the Gameboy Advance after DS showed up. Some people complained (like me =P ), but I don't think it hurt their sales any. Nintendo's conference was just as I expected. Noting much to talk about, but just enough to keep me occupied. I was hoping to see the rumored Kid Icarus, or Pikmin 3. Oh well, looks like it's just me and my Animal Crossing buddies. Nintendo's problem with me is their virtual console, they used it as a strong selling point years ago, but its turned into a compost heap of terrible games. Thankfully 360 is picking up the slack with the announcement of Banjo Kazooie. Sorry, It's a personal favorite N64 game of mine =P To make a long story short, this years E3 reminded me of last years E3. I'm not trying to make it sound boring, it's actually good news for me =-D Hopefully everyone else is comfortable with their investments.
