Museum of Soviet Arcade Machines

Sadly, the Soviet Union collapsed, and we will never see how the cultural changes and technological advances of the last 20 years would have looked in video game form, but we can remember the "Golden Age" of Russian gaming. A group in the former Soviet Republic have opened a museum of ancient Russian arcade cabinets in Moscow.

According to the museum's website, common childhood memories of Russians include cartoons from Souzmultfilm, Olympic Bear, Sportloto lottery, pioneer camps at the Black Sea, walks with parents and friends at the Parks of Culture and Seafight the arcade game pictured above.

The Museum of Soviet Arcade Machines features 37 machines, 20 of which are in working order.
