I laughed because as all of us gamers know, this phrase is iterated to us constantly wether we we want to pre-order or not. For some of you this may be your job to badger people about pre-orders. I feel for you because it used to be my job to.
My point is pre-ordering in my area SUCKS BIG TIME. Actually going to any of the specific game stores around me is hell because I know way more than their poor corp headquaters will let them in on.
My last trip was to pre-order Ninja Gaiden DS because I wanted the cool ninja sword stylus that was SUPPOSED to be a pre-order bonus. I go & ask about it, quickly given the usual shrug followed by "I don't know." So I left, was never asked if i wanted to pre-order anyway & they would let me know about the stylus. WOW, way to follow through there. If that was the way i performed at my old job, i would get my hands tongue off by a one eyed persian wielding a rusty clever.

I really only pre-order when there is going to be a bonus. It makes sense that way. Sadly another problem arises when doing so besides employee incompetence, I live in Canada. Bonuses are usually hoarded by the US stores & never see the light of day here. I barely got my Metal Gear Saga DVD with Subsistence. The 3 Disc version never made it here.
I really want to pre-order MGS4. I must have the Saga 2 DVD with the MGO Beta code. I can pretty much count on local stores having no idea about it or even a remote clue if its gona be up here.

So to anyone out there in USA land, please get me a MGS4 pre-order bonus.
