RIP My PS3 Disc Drive.
June 11, 2010 - 12:59 am
Thanks to 2 different copies Alice in Wonderland blu-rays my PS3 drive just went on strike. For some freaky reason the movie just never wanted to play until it just tossed me an INVALID Disc error.

Of course the warranty has lapsed. Putting a disc in is out of the question now but can still play downloaded games until I take it in for repair. (luckily less than a hour drive away)

So 5 Xboxes down, 1 borked PS3. Can't say I am really looking forward to what the future hold for home consoles now. Kind of sick of the junk that suicidal sweatshop workers pump out that makes us think that constant repairs or just buying a new one is normal.

my 1985 NES works no prob. Same goes for my 1989 Gameboy, Dreamcast, a SNES i just got. Launch PS2 never had a problem.
What on earth happened with this generations manufacturing?!

Agreed, I have no problems with my old systems at all. Though my PS2 would toss disc read errors at me and had to be replaced.
