I had this idea awhile ago, to do something called painting with light, but rather than go through and sit in a dark room and play with flashlights and such. I decided I wanted to see what would happen if the pictures were taken from the dashboard of a moving veichle .

Since I can't drive a stick shift car, operate the camera and make sure my 20+ year old camera stayed stationary... I thought the project would never come to fruition.

But then when I was talking about it to my girlfriend and she was very excited about it. So, we decided to do the project the next time I was visiting. Thanksgiving weekend, armed with a roll of masking tape, a mini tri-pod and a shutter release cable. We set out upon the streets and burned a full roll of film. Sarah, operated the shutter and made sure the camera didn't fall over, while I drove the car. These are some of the best pictures from that trip out.
