This week Tiger Woods hits the links for the new season of the PGA with Tiger Woods PGA 09 and Mario takes on baseball with the new Wii title, Mario Super Sluggers.  It would also seem to be the week of the RPG, as we have 5 new games from that genre releasing this week as well.

Madden is out this week, and that's pretty much it. It's kind of funny that EA is releasing it on the Xbox, considering most every retailer out there has little to no original Xbox displays, in favor of the newer Xbox 360. It makes me wonder how many copies the Xbox version will end up selling.

Who's side are you on? Soul Calibur IV is out this week folks and the true battle over Force superiority begins! Choose the path of the Jedi with the Xbox 360 version and Yoda, or go to the Dark Side with Darth Vader and the PS3 version. Remember, both versions have the Secret Apprentice in them, so you will be able to some sweet Light Saber duels. Other than the newest entry in the Soul Calibur series, not too much to talk about. there are a few baseball games being released this week, and the newest edition of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series is out for PC...a year after the original PS2 release of RotK XI.

One of the coolest street wear lables, Triumvir, is teaming up with the Street Fighter crew to create the coolest shirts & hats for gamers & cool kids alike.  The "Shadloo Crime Syndicate" pack is just a lead into the main Shadaloo collection coming this fall. The red/blue M.Bison colorway shirts & hates are limited to 200 pieces each & being sold at Comic Con this weekend. The black/white colorway should be hitting shops soon as well as their  Triumvir's online store.

The 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV is out this week as well as New International Track and Field. Not much else of note is being released, except for the new The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor game, which is based on the new The Mummy film starring Brendan Fraser.

Those of you who bought the Wii and PS2 versions of Rock Band are in luck this week. the Rock Back Track Pack: Volume 1 is being released this week, so now you guys can rock out to some of the content the PS3 and Xbox 360 players have been shreddin'. NCAA Football 09 is also out this weekso you can get your college football fix.

Like most of Summer, this week is another slow week for new titles being released. Devil May Cry 4 hits the PC, Unreal Tournament 3 lands on the 360 and the Wii get a new Final Fantasy, though it is a Chocobo Dungeon game.

Not only is another Guitar Hero title coming out this week. But the sequel to, what I consider, one of the hardest games ever made for the Nintendo DS is coming out this week. That title is,  Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2. Although I've read that ther are now multiple difficulty settings, I can just see people getting frustrated en masse over some of the challenges this series puts forth.
