I really enjoyed the first of the Resident Evil lightgun shooters on the Wii, The Umbrella Chronicles, and this one looks to improve on the first in every way.  This new trailer shows that off, and there is even a little something at the end that you might find interesting.

One of the coolest indie games created in a long time is finally getting a release on Xbox Live Arcade next year. FEZ is a 8-bit styled platformer 2D/3d side scroller. Not to mention that it is beyond cute and fun looking. I could try my hardest to describe this killer game but you are better off checking the trailer after the break. Make sure you have MS points saved up early next year for FEZ. You won't regret it. Check the video.

Game developer god and Grasshopper CEO, Goichi Suda (Suda 51), is letting fans know that for No More Heroes to continue on it will need to jump to a different console. "I think this is the last NMH that is going to be developed on Wii. To expand NMH to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we've done everything we can with it now." No More Heroes is right next to MGS as a favorite series of mine and would love No More Heroes on my PS3 or 360. Bring it on Suda. More NHM means more happiness for me and other gamers.

Graphic artist wizard, Matt W Moore, from Portland teamed up with cooler than cool site The Cool Hunter to create the custom graphics on the Mini Cooper cars. You would be the coolest gamer around if you rolled up to the 7-11 in one of these while trying to keep your High Score in check. These are probably one of a kind as I found no way to order these prints up for your ride.

During an interview with GameBusiness.jp, Naoya Matsui, head of Sony product planning, said that a UMD-less PSP was always the idea Sony had for the portable system.  "We'd planned to release a PSP model without a UMD drive since the very beginning, but if we'd simply released the hardware, there wouldn't have been much for everyone to enjoy." That is because the online PlayStation sphere wasn't in place and downloadable games just was not that norm for gamers. Thanks guys for going the UMD route!  Now I can have a bunch of useless plastic when I grab the system you really wanted to make in the first place. Next Sony will announce they hold the cure for Swine Flu, but not everyone would understand that they may need it or "get" their distribution system.

Finally the long delayed Punisher game is up on the PlayStation Store now for only $9.99. The game was originally planned for the re-launched movie that came out this past holiday season. That release obviously passed with out the game in sight. Now, you can play Frank Castle and violently shoot people in the face all you like. Seems like a pretty cool Unreal 3 Engine based game for a pretty cool price.

Tekken 6 is taking the old fighting game rule book and throwing it out the window. The first rule of fighting game Tekken gives the finger to will be Unlockable Characters. Tekken 6 is having none of that "unlocking" business. All the characters in the game will be ready to take on the others in the King of Fighting Tournaments right from the start. No more beating the game multiple times with a string of characters, and then again with everyone to get the over powered boss guy. No fighting characters online that you have not unlocked yourself. Hey, Street Fighter team, I hope you are taking notes!

Following the official announcement that the Alien RPG did in fact get canned, Obsidian's modern-day spy RPG, Alpha Protocol has gotten the release date of October 6th. Checking out this game at E3 revealed a title that draws game mechanics heavily off of Mass Effect, which could definitely be a good thing if Obsidian can seal the deal with good game play and story.
