Sony has given us the first details on the limited edition Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Entertainment Pack! Coming out on June 8, the bundle contains a Spirited Green PSP-3000, a UMD of MGS:PW, a voucher for the PlayStation Store for MGS:PW DLC, a yet to be announced movie download voucher, a 2GB memory stick, and it will retail for $199.99 USD. I gotta say, the fact that this has a PSP-3000 and not a PSPGo is very surprising. Almost looks like they don't want to push that system or something.
Well, we knew it was coming on March 30, but now we have the full details of Infinity Ward's first DLC map pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The Stimulus Package will have five maps (three brand new and two from Call of Duty 4) and will go for 1200 MS Points. There still has been no word on a release date for the PC and PlayStation 3 versions of the game. Hit the jump for the list of the five maps and a brief description.
This week marks a great day for Nintendo's Virtual Console. The classic and much sought after Akumajō Dracula X Chi no Rondo (a.k.a.: Castlevania: Rondo of Blood) makes it's way to North American shores in it's second release (the first being the PSP version), and apparently it is the original Japanese version with no English. Other titles coming out this week include the Wii Motion Plus supporting Rage of the Gladiator on WiiWare, and a bunch of other games, but who cares! Rondo of Blood is all that is important!
Almost every system is getting a big name title of some sort this week. With God of War III bringing Kratos to the PS3. Command and Conquer 4 landing on the PC and the Dragon Age: Origins - Awakenings expansion coming to PC, PS3 and 360. Not to mention Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver have already been released on Sunday.
Another Friday, another podcast! Join us for Episode 8 as we discuss OnLive going live this summer, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Sony's Natal Motion Plus controller, fat cats, and the scrotum.
